A 50-year-old woman and 46-year-old man from Moss Bluff have been charged with two counts of simple robbery, two counts of theft and one count of theft of a firearm, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Pamela S. Monk and Jesse D. Clem, both of 2019 Sam Houston Jones Pkwy., Lot No. 32, were arrested on June 13.

“Deputies were dispatched to a Moss Bluff bar in reference to two vehicle burglaries,” Myers said in a news release on Monday. “When deputies arrived, they obtained and reviewed video surveillance footage. Monk and Clem were seen entering two different vehicles in the bar parking lot and removing several items, including an undisclosed amount of cash and a .357 revolver.

“Monk and Clem were later arrested at their home without incident.”

Judge David Ritchie set Monk’s bond at $74,000 and Clem’s at $105,000.

Detective Mike Conner was the lead investigator.
