Louisiana Theatre Festival begins in November

The Louisiana Theatre Festival will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Central School Arts and Humanities Center. The one-day festival was created to provide young people with acting and technical theater training, performance opportunities, and college audition skills.
Students in grades 6-12 from Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jeff Davis parishes are invited to participate. No experience is necessary.
Teaching at the festival will be representatives from professional theater groups and college professors from around the state.
