Local man accused of stealing antique silverware

A 33-year-old Lake Charles man has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $4,500 worth of items, including $400 in antique silverware, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Howard J. Boutte Jr., 2509 Demarest St., was charged with simple burglary, theft over $1,500 and criminal trespass.
Judge Ron Ware set Boutte's bond at $4,250.
