KINDER — Local author Lori Leger will discuss her writing and books 4-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at the Kinder Library.
Leger has published five books in her “La Fleur de Love” series, stories based in Louisiana.
Her spin-off series, “Halos and Horns,” continues with tales of some of the first series’ favorite supporting roles. It combines her Louisiana characters with others from Texas.
Proud of her Cajun heritage, Leger says she always strives to inject a touch of Cajun flair into her stories by means of dialect, customs, food, music and characters that are intelligent, witty and lovable.
After the program, books will be available for purchase.
Her published works from the “La Fleur de Love” series are “Some Day Somebody,” “Last First Kiss,” “Hart’s Desire,” “Brown Eyed Girl” and “Heaven in Your Eyes.”
Books from the “Halos and Horns” series are “Green Eyed Temptation” and “Sarah Smile,” which is to be released later this year.

Title: La Fleur de Love series by Lori Leger
I've read all these books in her first published series, LaFleur de Love and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Very well written with a great story line told with a cajun flare and great romance. Proud to know she's from our area with great success.
