Ledet says he has deal; fans respond to loss

Joshua Ledet has given a hint toward what his next move might be.
The Westlake singer, who was eliminated from “American Idol” Thursday night, posted on his Facebook account Friday that he has signed a “huge deal.”
The Facebook post reads: “To everyone that’s supported me along the way thank you so much ! Love all of you guys! Dont be sad cause of my elimination! I signed a HUGE DEAL(: so I guess you’ll be hearing a lot more from me real real soon (:”
Ledet, who finished third on “Idol,” must still go on the show’s summer tour, which will last through September.

There were a lot of forlorn people in Southwest Louisiana on Friday.
After Josh Ledet was eliminated from the “American Idol” competition Thursday night, many local residents took to Facebook and Twitter to share their frustrations and well wishes.

No, this is not in reference to " Michael Jackson Theme" but this is it for Josh. He can and never will be compared to any singer I have ever hear. He has class and know how to intentionally draw you into his music. This is a true give from GOD. Thank you Josh for being so young and so gifted. Title: America are you deaf or just dumb?
I stop watching American Idol when Jordin Sparks won America you know she didn't. Dolitte should have won. That's when I stop watching. A friend in the industry called and said you need to watch this brother on the show. I told him no never again, he said Motion you have to watch him. So I did and he was amazing. I told my friend I know the music business also they will keep him on the show for rating, but he want win, They never pick the best singer on that show. I couldn't see wasting my money on a Jessica or Phillip concert. They are not stage material boring as hell I can sleep at home. Joshua is the total package, voice, stage present and all around entertainer. I've seen Precy Sledge, James Brown, Bee Gees, India Arie, Jennifer Hudson, Sam Cooke, Etta James perform live and Joshua performed every song with such passion he brought tears to my eyes and that's a hard thing to do. American Idol will lose alot of viewers over this one. For me never ever again I don't care if the POPE call and say watch.

Joshua, you have made Louisiana Proud. You are one hell of a singer and I can't wait to buy your CD's. Although you didn't win, always remember where you came from. I don't agree with the way American Idol works, because I believe after you reach the top 3 or 4 it should be the judges call, not America's. American Idol has turned into a popularity contest not a singing contest. But always remember if it wasn't for them that you may never be where you are today and I'm so grateful that you decided to try out and they were able to recognize a STAR. Title: True talent!
YESSSS!!!! Now I feel sooooooo much better!!! Joshua was the show stopper all season this year and it broke my heart to see him eliminated! I cried for two days till I read this. There will never be another Idol show in comparison to this years show simply because of the talent and showmanship this SWLA star has had on that stage. He is by far the best ever and will rise to the occasion even though he was voted off. America you got it wrong but look at him now and look at him next year!!! His love and devotion and beliefs keep him humble but his talent screams out to your bones when he sings!!! love you josh!
