Lake Charles woman charged with felony carnal knowledge

A 41-year-old Lake Charles woman is facing 11 counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile after allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old boy, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Renee E. Broussard, 1636 E. Tank Farm Road, was arrested Friday.
“During the investigation, Broussard confirmed she had sexual contact with the 16-year-old victim on numerous occasions since October 2012,” Myers said Monday in a news release. “The two met online.”
Broussard was released on a $110,000, which was set by Judge Clayton Davis.
Detective William Wilcox was the lead investigator.
