Three Lake Charles men have been arrested and charged with second-degree murder, but Lake Charles police said they were not releasing details until the investigation is complete.

The three men, 19-year-old Lucius Malveau III, 1003 18th St., 18-year-old James Bellard, 2808 General Mitchell St., and 20-year-old Justin Fowler, 2809 General Mitchell St., were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center Tuesday afternoon.

All three were also charged with aggravated criminal damage to property and were being held on a bond of $225,000 each.

Police spokesman Mark Kraus said police were waiting to release the information so as not to compromise the investigation.
