A Calcasieu Parish grand jury indicted a Lake Charles man Thursday on sex charges.

Terry James Goodeaux, 50, 3382 L. Benoit Road, Lot 29, was indicted on two counts of sexual battery and one count of attempted sexual battery.

Authorities say Goodeaux had sexual contact with two 7-year-old girls who live in the same trailer park as him. Additionally, they say he tried to have sexual contact with a 7-year-old girl who was visiting the trailer park.

Goodeaux is being held in the Calcasieu Correctional Center on $650,000 bond.

The grand jury returned a true bill against a man accused of sexual battery against two girls. Jose Maria Rosales, 40, faces four counts of sexual battery of victims under 13.

The crimes occurred between Oct. 1, 2012, and July 2, 2013, while the victims were under the age of 9, according to the indictment.

The grand jury declined to indict Texas man Jeremy Morris Ervin, 34, on a charge of forcible rape.
