A 32-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged with three counts of obscenity, three counts of criminal trespassing and resisting an officer, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Alexander D. Williams, 3102 N. General Wainwright, was arrested on Sunday following a stakeout at a local nursing home.
“In June, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a local nursing home,” Myers said. “Representatives from nursing home said the man, who is not a resident, who would stand outside on the grounds and bang on the glass doors. After getting the attention of someone inside, he would expose and begin pleasuring himself. This reportedly happened several times since May.”
Myers said detectives with the Vice Division conducted a stake out of the nursing home on Sunday.
“They observed Williams ride a bicycle onto the property and approach a glass door,” Myers said. “When detectives approached Williams, he fled on foot and was quickly apprehended. When questioned by detectives, Williams confirmed to going to the nursing home on numerous occasions over the last three months and exposing himself through the glass doors.”
Myers said Williams, who is on probation for an obscenity arrest in 2011, is being held on a $260,000 bond set by Judge Michael Canaday.
Detective Michael Primeaux was the lead investigator, while Lt. Rusty Broussard was the arresting deputy.
