Lake Charles man charged with sexual battery, carnal knowledge

A 20-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged six counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and three counts of sexual battery, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Jonathan J. Singleton has been accused of having sexual contact with the 14-year-old girl.
Myers said Singleton was walking with the girl on Smith Road when deputies were patrolling the area.
“During an initial interview, Singleton advised deputies that he had inappropriate sexual contact with the girl, who was an acquaintance,” Myers said Monday in a news release. “When later questioned by detectives, Singleton confirmed he had inappropriate sexual contact with the girl on numerous occasions since November 2012.”
Judge Clayton Davis set Singleton’s bond at $450,000.
Detective William Wilcox was lead investigator.

No he ruined his own life not the Law, Police or DA. He should have not messed with a underage girl. That was his choice. There are plenty of Girls His age or older.
