A 42-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling, theft over $1,500 and possession of stolen things over $1,500, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Felton C. Joseph, 2211 Rose St., was arrested on May 17.
“On April 9, detectives investigated the burglary of a home on Ravia Road in Sulphur,” Myers said. “On May 17, they received information the stolen items may be at a home on Rose Street in Lake Charles. A search of the home revealed a flat screen television, two laptop computers and a jewelry box — all were items from the home on Ravia Road.”
