Lake Charles man arrested in connection with fatal shooting

Lake Charles man was arrested last Thursday in connection with last week’s fatal shooting of 31-year-old Domingo Elizalde MiJangos on Fall Street, authorities said.The man, Ulises Barrangan Cedillo, a resident of the home where the shooting happened, was charged with obstruction of justice and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on $300,000 bond.
Lake Charles Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said Monday in a news release that Cedillo, 23, “was not being truthful as to the events that took place surrounding the homicide,” which occurred June 25 at 734 Fall St.
