Lake Charles employee dies

A new employee of the Lake Charles Public Works Department died Thursday, officials said.Quentin Anderson completed his first day of work Thursday, then began suffering from apparent heat exhaustion, according to a news release for the City of Lake Charles.
Anderson was transported to a local hospital, where he died, the city said.
The exact cause of death is not yet known, the city said.
