Jennings man gets 50 years in child porn case

A Jennings man was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison on child pornography charges recently.
Whitney Joseph Gary Jr., who was also sentenced to lifetime supervised release, pleaded guilty in August to charges he produced and received child pornography.
Authorities searched warrant Gary’s residence and found three DVDs containing child pornography, and a check of his computer revealed that he had produced pornography using six children.
Gary admitted producing the images using one of the victims on four occasions, authorities said.
