Dubroc was arrested after the sheriff’s office received a call form a local crawfish farmer about a subject spotted in his pond on U.S. 90 at Farm Supply Road, just west of Jennings.

The farmer told deputies he was checking his crawfish ponds around 8:30 p.m. when he saw something “black and round swimming through his crawfish traps,” Ivey said. Deputies arrived and arrested Dubroc, who was dressed in black clothing.

Dubroc was also stopped Saturday by Jennings police with two sacks of live crawfish in his van.

He also has two previous arrest for theft of crawfish which occurred in 2011, Ivey said.

Dubroc is being held in the parish jail without bond.””
