ROANOKE — An intercepted text message Wednesday led to the arrests of two drug dealers, authorities said.

Mister Sekoy Castille Jr., 18, and Kayn Jontae Deshotel, 17, both of Jennings, were charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were arrested after detectives, searching a residence in the 200 block of Fifth Street, responded to a text message offering drugs, said Chris Ivey of the Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives replied to the message, received by a phone found at the residence, and arranged to buy a quarter-ounce of marijuana for $150, Ivey said. Castille and Deshotel were arrested when they arrived for the meeting, which was set in a parking lot, he said.

At the residence, detectives found 82 packages — about 1,000 grams — of synthetic marijuana, Ivey said.

Additional arrests are pending, he said.(MGNonline)
