This post has sent so many trained men to fight for us in so many wars now is the time for us to stand for them.

Title: Save Ft. Polk

I served with honor and pride at this installation. At a time when Louisiana's Governor is not fighting for communities and whose aspirations are beyond the State of Louisiana it is our responsibility to fight to keep this installation open and viable. This installation has a place in our history from its segregation of north and south posts to Audie Murphy to battles fought all over the world. Most important is the impact it would have on the local economy if it were to face closure. I urge and encourage all to call your state legislature, US Senators and Representatives, and yes even the governor to fight without ceasing to keep this installation open as it is a key part of the local community and military industrial complex.
