BATON ROUGE (AP) — Flags at all Louisiana state buildings are flying at half-staff until sunset Friday in memorial to the victims of the Washington Navy Yard shootings.
Gov. Bobby Jindal issued the order Tuesday, calling the killings a “senseless attack.”
Law enforcement officials say 34-year-old Aaron Alexis murdered 12 people at the Navy Yard before he was killed in a shootout with police.
