Fishing derby to be held Saturday

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Youth/D.A.R.E. Division will hold their annual Youth Fishing Derby 7-10 a.m. Saturday at the CPSO Farm Pond behind the Calcasieu Correctional Center, 5400 E. Broad St.
Participants, who must be 15 years of age or younger, are asked to bring their own fishing gear (only one per person), bait and a cooler to bring their fish home. Refreshments will be furnished.
This event is offered free of charge. Youth groups are welcome.
