NEW LLANO (AP) — State police say a 39-year-old New Llano man was killed in a single vehicle crash on La. 1211 in Vernon Parish.

The accident happened late Sunday night.

Trooper Scott Moreau says a car driven by Brian Santana ran off the highway and hit a tree.

Santana was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
