JENNINGS — A Jennings woman who bought and smoked marijuana in the presence of juveniles was arrested Wednesday, authorities said.

Crystal Conner, 37, was charged with drug use around minors and contributing to juvenile delinquency.

The Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office began investigating in March after receiving a report of criminal activity, said Ramby Cormier, detective supervisor.

Conner was arrested in Lake Arthur and was booked into the parish jail. She was later released on a summons.
