A 22-year-old woman is facing various charges after trying to escape from authorities.

According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, Ashontelle Renee Sam was arrested on Friday afternoon in the 800th block of Bilbo St.

Sam, 2010 9th St. has been charged with criminal mischief, six counts of direct contempt of court, and two counts of simple escape.

Bond was set at 14,000 and remained in jail on Monday.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Anireal Chavira, 40, Princton, TX — Attempt and Conspiracy. Bond: $100,000,000.

• Hector Bejar, 23, Houston — drug possession with intent to distribute a schedule II narcotic (two counts), possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $101,000.

• Kyle Joseph Natali , 21, 932 W. Houston River Road — unauthorized entry of a place of business, resisting an officer. Bond: $51,000.

• Nathaniel Leday, 19, 300 Dobbertine Road. — Contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, simple criminal damage to property less than $500, possession of marijuana, contraband defined; certain activities regarding contraband in penal

institutions prohibited; theft of a firearm (two counts), aggravated burglary. Bond: $19,500.

• Stephen Ray Lockhart, 19, 174 Ryan Road. — drug possession with intent to distribute a schedule I narcotic (two counts), illegally carrying a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $14,000.

• Cody Garret Rider, 20, 1182 Willow Drive. — drug possession with intent to distribute a schedule I narcotic (two counts), illegally carrying a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $14,000.

• Brett James Starnes, 31, 705 S. Irwin St. — simple burglary (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $12,000.

• Loleta Ann Galentine, 25, 1112 Meadow Dive — drug possession with intent to distribute a schedule II narcotic. Bond: $10,000.

• Devin Kyle Peloquin, 18, 644 Moss Bluff Drive. — drug possession with intent to distribute a schedule I narcotic (two counts), . Bond: $9,000.

• Jeremy Scott Guillory, 39, 1326 Tomahawk Drive. — drug possession with intent to distribute a schedule II narcotic. Bond: $5,000.

• John Michael Smith, 18, 2926 Cypress St. — indecent behavior with juveniles. Bond: $5,000.

• Latasha Chere Citizen, 36, 773 Bennett Road — possession of stolen firearms, improper supervision of a minor by parent or legal custodian. Bond: $4,000.
