The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting of a 7 year-old student in a Moss Bluff Elementary first grade classroom Monday morning. The student was airlifted to a Lafayette hospital. Sheriff Tony Mancuso said that the shooting was believed to be accidental.
