Dubois: Maybe this should actually be Talk Like a Pirate Day

So, the Pittsburgh Pirates are in the playoffs for the first time since 1992. And wouldn't you know it? They threw a runner out at home plate to clinch it.

That 1992 postseason ended for the Pirates when they famously failed to throw out a runner at the plate.

So, my friend Dan, a Pirates fan from way back, is celebrating today. Me? Well, I was not so much a Pirates fan as a Roberto Clemente fan, as you can see. But that's close enough for me to be happy for the Pirates and their fans.
