Dubois: Would the name stop you from trying it?

Not me.

I don't always drink drool, but when I do, I prefer Moose Drool.

It also reminds me of a memorable trip I made a long time ago to cover a McNeese football game in Missoula, Mont., where Moose Drool is made. It also reminds me of a reporter who worked for me in Oregon — not because she drooled (which she did not), but because she's from Missoula.

The concept of naming a beverage Moose Drool also made me think of this commercial parody poking fun at Smuckers jam and its slogan ("With a name like Smuckers, it has to be good"):

There is Moose Drool in my refrigerator. There is no Smuckers. I will soon remedy that.

Mangled Baby Ducks will not be on my shopping list.
