So, Tuesday night was my first Houston Astros game of the season to watch. The team here in the Pacific Northwest is the Seattle Mariners, so I tuned in on Root Sports to watch the second game of Seattle's homestand and Houston's second shot at the Mariners.

Hey, what's the fuss? That's what I was thinking when it was 2-0, 3-0, 6-0, 11-0, 12-0, 14-2 in favor of the Astros.

The final score was 16-9, and you can read more here.

Five homers and 22 hits. Keep an eye on these guys.

(OK, I'm not that naive, but still, it was fun for a longtime Astros fan to watch it unfold.)

But hey, someone tell this guy:

I think he was starting to be a downer about this team.

At the very least, that blog is a good snapshot of the reality of the new Houston Astros before the fun 16-9 game in Seattle on Tuesday night.

Heck, I might watch again tonight!
