DeRidder man charged with aggravated incest, cruelty to a juvenile

A 41-year-old DeRidder man has been charged with three counts of aggravated incest and three counts of cruelty to a juvenile, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Darren J. Racca, 250 Church St., was arrested June 19 after a six-week investigation.
“On May 8, the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint accusing Racca of having sexual contact with a female family member,” Myers said in a news release. “The victim stated she was made to perform sexual acts on Racca on numerous occasions between 2004-2005 when she was 7 years old.”
Judge Wilford Carter set Racca’s bond at $25,000.
Detective Trey Thomas was the lead investigator on this case.
