Dance recital to benefit St. Jude’s Hospital

The Young American Jazz Ballet Company will present it spring concert at 8 p.m. June 16 in the Rosa Hart Theater along with students from Glenda Moss Academy of Dance. Admission is $11 at the door, with proceeds donated to the St. Jude Children’s Research program or given as dance scholarships to advanced students from the academy.

Performances include “Into The Wild,” a piece choreographed by Dawn Fox, “Sparkle Diamond,” “La Farandole,”and “Welcome to Burlesque,” also choreographed by Fox.

The dance concert will also feature Junior Company members in dances choreographed by Karen Estep, Kelly Wetterstroem and Glenda Moss.
