Lake Charles announces road closures

Ann Street, between Mill and Pine streets, will be closed beginning on Monday, Nov. 19.
City officials said that the closure "is needed to coordinate construction activities for the City Court project for the duration of the Ryan Street and Mill Street intersection closure."
Traffic will be rerouted to Lakeshore Drive.
Officials said the work could be finished in three weeks, weather permitting.
Also, 12th Street from Ryan to Hodges will be closed for a from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The closure is for repairs to the railroad tracks and drivers will have to detour to 11th Street.
