SHREVEPORT (AP) — Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw say a drug operation at the Louisiana State Fair netted three carnival workers and five fair-goers.
Drug agents made the arrests on Saturday. Seven were booked with possessing a drug; 41-year-old Timothy Haley of Hawkins, Texas, was booked with possessing drugs with intent to distribute them.
Prator identified the fair workers Monday as 26-year-old Issam Alkheidi of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 31-year-old Fawn Odom of Casper, Wyo., and 31-year-old Jay Beeson of Dallas. He says Alkheidi was booked on a misdemeanor charge and the other two on felony possession charges.
The others were identified as Haley; 20-year-old Tyloer Dickson of Traskwood, Ark., 57-year-old Paul Marrow of Doyline, 31-year-old Adam Anderson of Shreveport and 50-year-old Rumney Evertt of Shreveport.
