Sabine drug probe results in more than 40 arrests

MANY (AP) — Authorities in Sabine Parish say a yearlong investigation into illegal narcotics activity in and around Many and Zwolle resulted in the arrests of 44 people.

Wednesday's arrests follow an undercover investigation conducted by the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

The majority of arrests were for distribution of methamphetamine, according to The Times of Shreveport.
