Last Modified: Thursday, March 28, 2013 10:08 AM

BOSSIER CITY (AP) — A Shreveport woman is accused of battery after police say she hit a co-worker with a bottle of steak sauce.

Bossier City police say 30year-old Lashonda Turner and 23-year-old Heather Mattingly were working at steak house Sunday when they got into an argument and Turner allegedly grabbed a bottle of A-1 steak sauce and hit Mattingly in the head.

Mattingy then allegedly punched Turner in the face.

The Times reported Turner was booked with aggravated battery.

Police say Mattingly was issued a citation for simple battery due to her need for medical attention for a cut she received from the fight.

It was unclear whether the women have attorneys.
