Shreveport police investigate 1-year-old's death

SHREVEPORT (AP) — Shreveport police are investigating the death of a 1-year-old boy who had been spending the night with his father.
The Times reported that Roderius Lott was found unresponsive in a house Thursday morning and pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.
An autopsy was ordered.
Police spokesman Bill Goodin says the boy's father — 23-year-old Rodricus Crawford — was booked on outstanding warrants charging him with drug possession and contempt of court. Goodin said investigators also found a small amount of suspected marijuana in the house.
Authorities said the boy normally lives with his mother, but had spent Wednesday night with his father.
