ALEXANDRIA (AP) — Authorities say an Arkansas man faces 38 charges, including aggravated rape and aggravated incest charges, in connection with sex crimes in Louisiana.

The Town Talk reports (http://townta.lk/19iaf3u) 25-year-old Zachary Scott Carraway, of Springdale, Ark., has been booked with 19 counts of aggravated incest, 10 counts of aggravate rape, eight counts of sexual battery and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint on Aug. 18 about alleged sexual crimes in the Boyce area. Deputies investigated in conjunction with representatives of the Louisiana Department of Child and Family Services.

Carraway was arrested Friday and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He is being held with bond set at $1.5 million.

It was unclear whether Carraway has an attorney.
